Pajamas

Fall is just starting to hit North Carolina (if you can call it fall when the highs are around 80 and the lows are around 60 - feels like a Boston summer to me) and Nathan has grown out of last winter's pajamas, so we've slowly been acquiring new winter pjs. He loves, loves, loves his new pajamas. This morning, I went to change his diaper, and he completely melted down - kicking, screaming, tears flowing. It was a great temper tantrum. Come to find out, the cause of the meltdown was that he thought I was going to change him out of his cars pajamas into regular clothes. As soon as he was reassured that he could stay in his pajamas, he settled right down. Now how to get him to change for our afternoon walk...

That's funny! Must be hereditary, as your mother does the same thing when I try to get her out of her pajamas...

How funny! We just bought Ali some pj's too. I think kids are so cute in their jammies. If I could, I would leave Ali in them all the time too.

You mean we're not supposed to wear jammies on walks. The trick is to get the kind that could pass for gym clothes then you can wear them all day.
