Boss's Day
Today is, apparently, Boss's Day. Now, for the previous twenty-eight years of my life, that has meant nothing since I've always been one of the masses of employees. And since we didn't always care for our principals, Boss's Day was often politely forgotten at the schools where I worked. Now that Chad has acquired the title Doctor and a job to go with it, though, we (which means Chad) have entered the world of the Bosses. He isn't technically a boss and certainly doesn't have the paycheck yet, but there we were today at the head table at a lunch put on by the ladies in honor of Boss's Day. It was truly a weird moment, one of those moments when you go through a pretty substantial phase shift. It's weird going into the office to pick Chad up, toting along always adorable Nathan. All of the ladies there are older than me (I think) and have spent way more time at the office, but there is a difference in the way they treat me. It's so weird! When in the world did we turn into grown-ups?!?

I think that is great. I can understand how that would feel a little wierd, but you totally deserve it. You and Chad have worked so hard it is about time someone treated you as the Boss. Congrats! Enjoy it.
That must feel pretty weird to be The Boss (you guys are The Man!!!) But, I can't think of a nicer guy to be The Boss than Chad, and I can't think of a nicer Boss's Wife than you. (And I think they fawn over Nathan because he IS so stinking cute!)
