Every morning (and after every nap) since, Nathan has decided that it's time for another "vitamin." He crawls straight for the pantry closet, not even bothering to go find his beloved Daddy or ask to go play outside. It's funny, it means he's guaranteed to be open to the idea of real vitamins when the time comes, and it's only three jellybeans a day, so I indulge his sweet tooth. Here he was this morning asking for his vitamin, not happy that Mom was taking a picture instead of getting his vitamin.

Vitamins
A couple of months ago, I was getting my breakfast ready while Nathan was tooling around the kitchen. When I got down my morning vitamin, he decided that he needed one of whatever Mom had too. Now, I was pretty sure that fifteen-month-old boys didn't need prenatal vitamins, so I had to find a substitute. First thing in the morning isn't the time for a meltdown. The leftover Easter jellybeans were on the counter, so Nathan got a yummy pink jellybean instead.

Oh that sad face...just give him the jelly bean already. I don't know how you could ever make him wait with that cute sad face looking at you.
