The best part was when she woke up from her four-hour, post-shot nap screaming at the top of her lungs because she hurt from the shots. And, the new trim that the workman had *just* installed on the garage door got caught on our not-so-functional door so the door wouldn't open. So, I had two crying children (Nathan was sad that Emily was sad), the Infant's Tylenol from Nathan had expired, and I momentarily couldn't get the car out of the garage. Can we say frustrated mommy? All was eventually resolved, but it involved lots of sad babies. Everyone's fine now, and Emily's been sound asleep for almost ten hours now. Aren't sleeping babies wonderful?
We're still trying to capture that first, really cute picture of smiling, but this is what we have so far (and yes, that is still our amazingly horrible sofa. Estimated date of replacement is currently January).

I can see a smile. Kind of. I hope she and Nathan are feeling better.
Smiles just make all the crying stuff more worth it. Emily looks just like Chad! I cannot believe how much she looks like him. So cute.
Mmmmmm..sounds like a wonderful moment. I seem to have lots of moments like that these days. She is just as rolly and perfect as can be!! Love the pictures!
She is just so cute! She looks just like Nathan!
That's cute. She looks so big. She looks very Chadsy to me in that picture. Maybe it's the hairdoo:)) I'd love to see him wearing the swim goggles at work.
