So this morning, I was commenting on Ashley's blog, and I heard the ominous ringing of what is distinctly the bell ornaments on the Christmas tree. I went in to find Nathan had pulled off the bottom Christmas tree lights and was playing with two of the ornaments. At least I put the baby safe ones on the bottom. He had also managed to turn on the DVD player and eject my Pilates video. I hear more rumblings in the living room. Perhaps it's time to go supervise the little rascal...

Mornings
Every morning, the first thing we do (when we don't have to take Chad to work so we can have the car that day (we need a second car!)) is feed Nathan his morning bottle. Then, it's time for my morning breakfast. I bring my morning oatmeal in the study to check emails, ESPN, blogs, etc while Nathan plays in the living room. Since he wasn't mobile until last week, this was a pretty safe arrangement. Until he started to crawl...

Silly Nathan. I'm impressed that he figured out the DVD player though. By the way, what a pretty Christmas tree!
Just wait - you'll really start getting worried when he's quiet for longer than five minutes. The other day Kathleen was very, very quiet because she was unrolling an entire (almost new) roll of toilet paper in my bedroom. They always know to be especially quiet when they're doing things they know they shouldn't do.
Hi Brynn! Thanks for calling the other day - things have been crazy for me but I'll call you next week when I'm home. Gorgeous tree! How fun (?) that Nathan is crawling :)
(p.s. I hate giving unsolicited advice, but I've heard that Christmas lights have lead in them - bad for babies :( )
Hey there, Brynn! Marci had a link to your blog on hers and I thought, "there is only one Brynn & Chad that I know..." and here you are. :) Glad you made it somewhere warmer - you're definitely doing better than Boston weather right now!! Hope you guys have a merry Christmas! Nathan is adorable!
