Chad thinks Nathan looks like Gilligan in this hat. I think he looks cute :) This was at Castle Island.

One big fun event that I forgot from last week - it was my birthday! I turned 28 on Friday the 13th. To observe my birthday, we went down to Castle Island, a Revolutionary War-era fort down on the water in South Boston. There's a place there called Sullivan's which has $1.75 hamburgers and some of the best onion rings I've ever had. And I have had my fair share of onion rings. The onions were big and thick with just about the right amount of breading, and their Fryolater cooked them to just the right shade of golden brown. Yummy, yummy in my tummy. After devouring our tasty and cheap lunch, we found a spot of grass tucked up by the fort and read Harry Potter. We were on the shady side of the fort and had a great view of the North Shore, including Logan Airport and Winthrop. There was lots of boat and plane traffic and awesome people watching. The weather was gorgeous, and I had two of the most handsome boys there with me. It was a great birthday :)

That's the fort behind me. Sadly, you can't tour it - all the windows and doors have been bricked up.
Rice cereal - yum! You can tell this picture was taken early on in the feed. By the end, the bib was covered with cereal. Nathan was trying to help me feed him.
